Matthew Bateman is an Associate at The Ezra Company’s Tyson’s Corner office. As a Tenant advocate, Matthew works closely with a successful team of senior brokers to develop strategic real estate plans that are customized based on the specific needs of their clients and geared towards maximizing results while minimizing facility costs. Matthew seeks to leverage his professional and personal experiences to ensure that clients are provided with an outstanding level of service, advocacy, and support upon which The Ezra Company prides itself.
Prior to joining The Ezra Company, Matthew held roles with top corporate healthcare companies such as Humana, Health Advocate, AmeriHealth, and the most recent 4 years have been spent with AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals in various capacities including Market Access and Pharmaceutical Sales.
While working towards his professional aspirations, Matthew attended Holy Family University where he earned a B.A. in Marketing-Management. Prior to attending Holy Family, Matthew attended Neumann University where he played lacrosse goalie competing at the NCAA Division III level. Inspired by the game of lacrosse, Matthew co-founded a lacrosse program at the oldest all-girl Catholic high school in the United States as well as serving as their Head Coach for the first two seasons. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, Matthew currently resides in Northern Virginia. In his spare time Matthew enjoys discovering local DC attractions with his wife Brenda, riding his bike, and listening to oldies music. Matthew is on a team with Jack Schneider, Executive Managing Director and Paul Chandler, Sr. Vice President.
