Senior Vice President
Damon Rothman is a Senior Vice President in The Ezra Company’s new Tyson’s Corner, VA office and has been with the firm for 17 years. His focus is assisting clients with their leasing (i.e. relocations, renewals, subleases, and assignments) and purchasing transactions. Damon helps organizations develop and execute long-term real estate plans that result in lower occupancy costs and increased efficiencies. He is part of one of the most successful Ezra Teams by combining his relationship building and tenant advisory skills with those of his business partner, Eugene Martin, who is the Executive Vice President of The Ezra Company as well as Manager of the firm’s Virginia office.
Damon has over thirty-five years of successful business development and customer service experience. Back in the day at Computer Associates (CA), Damon achieved top U.S. honors’ during his early career in mainframe software account management for Fortune 500 companies. His ability to help businesses reduce cost while increasing productivity, in tandem with his exceptional account management skills, led to Damon’s meteoric rise through the ranks to become the youngest Divisional Vice President in the history of the 4th largest computer software company in the world. In addition to overseeing a multi-million dollar business enterprise, Damon was responsible for negotiating; developing and implementing divisional systems management software sales and marketing plans. He was also responsible for maintaining good customer relations through trouble shooting, high quality service and support.
Having gone from entry level to ivory tower in the corporate world, Damon then sought even greater challenges and lent his skills to a start up business when he served as Vice President of Interactive Systems, Inc. (ISI). Damon specialized in negotiating to provide Outsourcing, Enterprise Systems Management and Disaster Recovery Services to Fortune 500 corporations and universities along with database management development and services for non-profit organizations throughout the Washington Metropolitan area.
For the past 17 years, Damon employs his negotiating skills, business acumen and tenant advisory expertise to serve the best interests of not for profit and for profit organizations, both large and small.

When Damon is not busy helping his clients, or spending time with his wife, son and daughter, his passion is playing acoustic and electric guitar and keyboards as well as writing original music which he composes, records and produces in his Potomac, Maryland home-based DAW project studio.
Damon graduated from Adelphi University where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in Communication and English.
